Health & Safety
Working at height and with potentially hazardous materials brings with it a certain amount of risk. IHSL takes every precaution to reduce the risk of personal injury and property damage by carrying out thorough risk assessments prior to the commencement of any project. Furthermore, we make sure that all our personnel receive the necessary training and information to ensure their safety and the safety of others, on every job they undertake.
We also provide appropriate P.P.E. to guarantee the welfare of our employees while on site, and engage in ongoing supervision to maintain a safe work environment.
British Standards & Regulations
Thanks to the wide range of services IHSL offers, we perform varying tasks across multiple industries, each of which has their own set of standards and regulations to adhere to. Whether dealing with fire dampers, kitchen extract systems, Legionella sampling or deep cleans, we remain fully up to date with the minimum legal requirements and continually strive not just to meet those standards, but to exceed them.
Environmental Impact & Carbon Footprint
We are proud that the work we do results in cleaner, more efficient ventilation and extract systems, helping to reduce power consumption and carbon emissions in turn. However, we are also aware that many of the cleaning substances we utilise and the contaminants they treat can have a potentially harmful impact of the local environment.
That is why we do what we can to use environmentally friendly cleaning products where possible, and continually strive to minimise waste across the board.
We also hold a Waste Carrier Licence, enabling us to safely and responsibly dispose of any waste that might otherwise cause environmental harm.

While IHSL already adopts numerous strategies to ensure the welfare of our employees, our clients and the public at large, we understand that there is always room for improvement. That is why we work tirelessly to keep up with the everchanging standards and regulations surrounding the various services we provide.

- Carrying out risk assessments before any job begins and providing method statements to outline the safest methods to undertake each specific task
- Working in accordance with the relevant safety protocols and regulations
- Offering on-site supervision on every project to minimise risk and maintain a consistently safe environment for our employees and our clients
