After an initial clean, we release a biocide mist into the system’s airflow to remove harmful agents. The biocide we use is completely safe for building occupants.

Pre-Commission Cleans

Even brand-new ventilation systems can pick up dust, dirt and bacteria on building sites prior to installation. That is why Imperial Hygiene Solutions Ltd offers to clean every system grille and open-ended ductwork before applying a polythene seal to prevent any dust or debris from entering the duct while other contractors are on site.

Photographic & CCTV Surveys

This service is particularly useful when a ventilation system or ductwork route is inaccessible or restricted by solid ceilings. Using a variety of recording equipment, we can inspect the visual condition of internal ducting, offering a brief written report of our observations and recommendations.

Preferred Vacuum Tests (PVTs)

Through these tests, we collect samples from a duct’s interior surface prior to and after a clean in order to determine its level of hygiene. These samples are vacuumed directly into cassettes, which we then send to an independent laboratory for weighing.

Microbiological Sampling Surveys

This is the most reliable method of monitoring microorganisms in ventilation ductwork, such as yeast, fungi and bacteria. As this form of testing detects viable microorganisms and not just particle counts, we are able to determine genuine contamination risks within the system and surrounding environment.
